Top Gun: Maverick - Darkstar

Real prop build by Lockheed Martin (Skunk Works) and based on design by Daniel Simon - i had a chance to model entire aircraft matching it 1:1 to every detail to set prop which was used full CG in flying sequence and some while on the ground. Since original prop did not had engines and scramjets mechanism, i had to design those parts to fit the jet as much as possible.
Some other things in CG version i added is a way for vertical stabilizers to move, back wing flaps and other smaller details and vents. There was a shot initially in the movie where we see those flaps move as a test just before take-off but unfortunately it was not included in final movie so it is hard to notice those.

Darkstar edit of shots showcasing the jet - i did the model of entire aircraft, full model - except interior of cockpit.

Lookdev shots used for aircrafts tests if everything works - shows Darkstar as well as other two jets that i did, full models inside and out Su-57 and F14-Tomcat.
